Need this for a department or organization?
We run Claude Code workshops for teams that want a shared workflow for planning, building, debugging, and responsibly using AI coding agents on real work.
Smaller class. More attention.
Every session is capped at 8 seats, so you get real help the moment you're stuck instead of a lecture from the front of the room.
And the support doesn't end when the day does. Every attendee joins our private Slack community, where you can ask questions, share what you're building, and get unstuck as you keep going.
After the workshop, we'll ask for honest feedback. A short quote we can share is helpful but optional.
They came in curious.
They left building.
I can now seamlessly plan, build, and deploy with a trusted workflow.
Dr. Hill was spectacular and not only did I learn how to build through actually building a useful app, Dr. Hill encouraged me in a way that takes away the intimidation of being a beginner and seeing a pathway toward being only limited by imagination and time.
AI can spark all kinds of discomfort in today's world. Taking a course that made me confident I can stay ahead of the curve took AI integration from uncomfortable to capable.
Setup support. Included.
Honestly, getting set up is where most people stall out with Claude Code. So the moment you register you get a written, step-by-step setup guide for Windows and Mac, and the week of the workshop we'll offer a quick call to walk through anything your laptop's doing that the guide didn't cover. By the morning of, you can spend the day actually building instead of fighting your terminal.
What you'll build, what you won't.
This workshop is
- A real web app you build hands-on, with Claude doing most of the typing
- Hands-on practice writing prompts, reading code, and fixing what breaks
- Skills you can use on scripts, internal tools, or whatever you build next
This workshop isn't
- A high-level AI strategy class
- A course on automating your inbox or your monthly reports
- Aimed at engineers who already write code for a living
Idea to shipped, in five steps.
Idea
Name the thing you want to make
Plan
Pin down what it does, why, and the steps
Design
Mock up the look before any code
Build
Claude does the typing, you steer
Ship
Deploy it live and share the link
You'll run this loop start to finish in the workshop, and it's the same one you'll use on every idea after.
What we'll get into.
Setting up Claude Code
Getting it installed on your machine and ready to work in the first hour.
Prompting that works
Patterns that get usable code on the first try, not the tenth.
Planning before implementing
Letting Claude draft a plan you can review and revise before any code gets written.
Frontend design with Claude
Mocking up the look of your app in Claude's Design tool, then handing it off to Claude Code to build out.
Building a workflow that fits you
How to make Claude Code part of how you actually work, not a one-off novelty.
Claude skills
Custom instructions you can hand Claude to follow on repeat tasks.
Working with agents
Letting Claude run a multi-step task end to end while you supervise.
MCP servers
Connecting Claude to your tools, files, databases, and the internet.
Picking the right model
When to reach for Fable, Opus, Sonnet, or Haiku, and what each is best at.
Understanding context
What Claude can see at any moment, and how to feed it the right information.
Debugging when it gets stuck
How to course-correct when Claude writes something broken or wrong.
When not to reach for it
The kinds of problems where Claude Code is the wrong tool, and what to use instead.
Taught by someone who uses
Claude Code daily.

Dr. Stephen Hill
Stephen holds a PhD in Operations Management from the University of Alabama and teaches Data Analytics and Sports Analytics. He founded Illumined Analytics and has spent hundreds of hours building with Claude Code on workflows, prototypes, and client work. He brings that to the workshop: what works, what to avoid, and how to keep moving when the model gets stuck.
